2025 MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix – How to watch, session times & more

Marc Marquez could be crowned a nine-time world champion and a seven-time MotoGP title winner in this Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix if he can outscore his brother and nearest rival Alex Marquez by three points over the weekend.

The factory Ducati rider currently has a 182-point lead in the standings, which he must extend to 185 to wrap up the title at Motegi, the home of his previous employer Honda.

Marquez has a strong track record in Japan, having won the race five times in his career — including three in the premier class with Honda.

Moreover, since the Japanese GP returned to the calendar in 2022 after a prolonged COVID-induced absence, Ducati has been unbeaten at Motegi with three victories in three attempts (Jack Miller 2022, Jorge Martin 2023, Francesco Bagnaia 2024).
