With less than 25 minutes left in the 90-minute session, the 32-year-old Blomqvist took the reins of the No. 60 Acura ARX-06 and shot to the top of the speed charts with a flying lap of 1 minute, 35.415 seconds on Daytona’s 3.56-mile speedway road course.
