Robin Frines from Envision Racing was fourth fastest on Friday, his car, by the way, is also equipped with a Jaguar electric motor. Pascal Wehrlein rounded out the top five ahead of Norman Nato from Andretti Global, who was 0.094 seconds faster than his teammate and current series champion Jake Dennis.
